El Salvador La Roxanita
Coffees from El Salvador are limited. They don’t produce as much as other Central or South American countries. When we find a gem of a coffee from this El Sal, we drop everything and make sure to get it on our menu. This beauty is grown on a small farm called La Roxanita. It is a Honey Processed Pacamara and is just waiting to blow you away.
This coffee embodies the characteristics of other coffees from the region. Soft and subtle flavors of chocolate, cocoa and caramel. Mild stone fruit acidity and some muted florals that really shine when water is introduced.
Ignacio Gutierrez has grown a phenomenal coffee and placed #10 in the Chalatenango Best Cup. We are so excited to taste new coffees every year from this farm and this region.
